Geoffrey Bove, DC, PhD
Geoffrey Bove, DC, PhD, is a graduate of Hampshire College, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is an associate professor at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Biddeford ME. He also maintains a small chiropractic practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex pain cases. Dr. Bove’s research has focused on the effect of inflammation on small diameter axons within peripheral nerves, including both sensory and autonomic axons. His most recent interest seeks to determine the effects and mechanism of abdominal mobilization on post-operative adhesions and ileus. He serves on grant review panels for the National Institutes of Health, and reviews manuscripts for numerous biomedical journals.
